How can we assist you?

 

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within a period of 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer who is not the carrier, physically takes possession of the goods. Important note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to the delivery of goods made according to the consumer's specifications, or which are clearly intended for a specific person. At ProtectMyTable, this exception to the right of withdrawal applies to any tablecloth cut to the Customer's specifications.

The goods must be returned in accordance with our general terms and conditions Article 4:

 

4.1. Custom-cut tablecloth: returns not possible

When the Customer orders a tablecloth that is custom-cut, it can no longer be returned after processing. Since this product is personalized for each Customer, that specific product can therefore no longer be resold by ProtectMyTable. Consequently, returns are not applicable to all custom-cut tablecloths. The Customer is expected to take this into account during the ordering process and to carefully check the dimensions of the desired product before placing an order. Are you unsure between different thicknesses or patterns? Then you can order different samples at the reasonable price of 1 euro each. This allows you to compare various models.

4.1.1. Other products: return costs are borne by the Customer

The costs for returning goods are borne by the customer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the costs of return shipment will not be charged to the customer if the delivered good or service does not match the description of the offer. Important: as mentioned above (see Article 4.1.), custom-cut tablecloths cannot be returned.

 

4.2. Product must not be used or damaged

During this period, the Consumer shall handle the products and packaging with care. He shall only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether the product meets the specifications stated in the offer. When the products have been used by the Consumer or have been damaged in any way, the right of withdrawal or termination of the agreement expires.

 

4.3. Notifying ProtectMyTable of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform ProtectMyTable (Industriestraat 9, 2500 Lier sales@ProtectMyTable.com) via an unequivocal statement (e.g. in writing by post, fax, or email) of their decision to withdraw from the agreement. The Customer may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but is not obliged to do so. 

 

4.4. Proof that product was returned on time

When the consumer invokes the right of withdrawal, they shall return the product with all supplied accessories and in the original condition and packaging to ProtectMyTable, Industriestraat 9, 2500 Lier within a period of 14 days after invoking the right of withdrawal. The consumer must prove that the delivered products were returned to ProtectMyTable on time, for example, by means of proof of postage.

 

4.5. Return costs are borne by the Customer

The costs for returning goods are borne by the customer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the costs for return shipment will not be charged to the customer if the delivered good or service does not match the description of the offer.

 

4.6. How to return?

If you wish to return a package, you can always do so at your own expense, and the full amount will be refunded. You can also request a return label from ProtectMyTable. In Belgium, €5 will be deducted from the refund of your order for a return label. For returns from the Netherlands and France, €10 will be charged. The return label can be requested by emailing info@protectmytable.com with your name and order number.

*These conditions only apply to standardized packages smaller than 150 cm and if all other conditions are met.

 

4.7. Purchase automatically final after 14 days

When the consumer – after the expiry of the 14-day period – has not returned the delivered products to ProtectMyTable, the purchase is automatically finalized.

 

4.8. What will be refunded?

If the Customer withdraws from the agreement, ProtectMyTable shall refund all payments received from the Customer up to that point, including the standard delivery costs, to the Customer within a maximum of 14 calendar days after ProtectMyTable has been informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw from the agreement. In sales contracts, ProtectMyTable may withhold the refund until it has received all goods back, or until the Customer has provided proof that they have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

 

 4.9. Alternative delivery methods

Any additional costs resulting from the Customer's choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by ProtectMyTable will not be refunded.

 

4.10. Refunds are made via the same payment method as the customer’s

ProtectMyTable will refund the Customer using the same payment method the Customer used for the original transaction, unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, the Customer will not be charged any fees for such refund.

 

4.11. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consumer may not invoke the above right of withdrawal for agreements concerning:

  • the supply of goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market over which ProtectMyTable has no influence and which may occur within the withdrawal period;
  • the supply of goods made to the Customer’s specifications, or which are clearly intended for a specific person;
  • the supply of goods that perish quickly or have a limited shelf life;
  • the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery;
  • the supply of goods which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other products;
  • the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the sales contract, but which can only be delivered after 30 days, and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations over which the company has no influence;
  • agreements in which the Customer has specifically requested ProtectMyTable to visit them to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance;
  • the supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings and sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery;
  • the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscriptions to such publications;
  • agreements concluded at a public auction;
  • the provision of accommodation other than for residential purposes, goods transport, car rental services, catering, and services related to leisure activities, if the agreements provide for a specific date or period of performance;
  • the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, if the execution has begun with the express prior consent of the Customer and provided the Customer has acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal (e.g. downloading music, software);
  • agreements for betting and lottery services.
